New Carlisle features a thriving downtown and beautiful homes listed in the National Register of Historic Places. We are conveniently located on U.S. 20 (the original Lincoln Highway) just 10 miles west of South Bend and just a short drive to Laporte. Nearby are many northern Indiana and southern Michigan travel destinations. A South Shore Train stop is also located in nearby Hudson Lake where you can board the train for a day trip to Chicago.
